It has a nicer screen and I think it looks better and it is more modern. But the 735xt is a fine watch and will work well. I think the smartwatch-type battery life will be better on the 735. But GPS-on battery life will be better on the 245. I think the 245 is worth the extra money if you don't need the triathalon activities. The 245 looks very cool, but it's already slightly more than what I want to pay for, and the 245 Music is $50 more. Is WiFi worth it? I don't really care about Spotify, etc. Also, is there no music storage on the regular 245? From the looks of it I can still store & play music on the watch. If that's true I'm good with the regular 245.
