I'm not an expert on Korean movies but I'd say that this wasn't bad at all. Obviously, a two-hour movie cannot have the same depth of character development as a 16- or 20-hour drama series but since the main focus was on the main characters, I think you had enough time to get attached to them.

The girls in the movie are also charming, but their characters are simple background pieces. They appear to have their own ambitions and expectations in life, but from the moment they get involved with Javier, then he is all that matters. It feels like a bit of a fantasy, really. Nothing is wrong with it, but it could have been more realistic.
